It starts out with push messaging, which is a good move as most text service customers understand what push messaging is. The second type of text messaging, however, is a little different.

Pull messaging is different, but as the article continues to explain it is not much different than a customer-initiated text. Using text banking codes, pull messages are when customers utilize text banking commands to access features within their banks, like transfers and deposits.

Additionally, the article reviews the benefits of text banking. While these benefits vary greatly based on customer demographics and needs, overall, a boost in customer satisfaction results when they are given the option to utilize text banking communication.
